KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Anis Aneesa is back with a new single titled Terusik which is written and composed by Dior aka Shahril Shaari, with Khai Rafik aka Rafikoncept as arranger and co-composer.
The singer is marking a 'comeback' to dangdut-pop, and to market her song effectively, it is tied to the promotion of popular health food B'Rose Suri Terusik.
Five years ago, Anis chose to dabble in 'world music' specifically Middle Eastern melodies, with an album Qasidah Cinta produced by award-winning composer Ajai. However, it did not get the airplay she and Ajai expected.
Thus, Anis has decided to return to the genre which marked her entry into the music world - dangdut- oriented pop.
